mourner This is a great occult black metal album. It's on repeat for three days now and every song here is so accomplished that I can't believe that this is a debut. The album totally got me. David Fischer Svartulven, a Greek entity - which I never would have guessed, but my hellenic black metal expertise has its limits - have released a dark, brooding and occult debut with this record. Sonically, this is most reminiscent of the corporeal darkness of Kriegsmaschine (albeit less Polish). Dissonance, cold melodies and evil, terror-evoking vocals blend into a portrait of horror, accentuated by a particularly oozing bass. The production makes this even more enjoyable. Splendid! Favorite track: The Parable of Abel.

Rob Obscure In few words: this is one of the best debut albums I've ever listened to, outstanding from start to finish!

Rorschach Roulette Shit this explosively good needs to come with a bib, wet nap, and body bag….spork as an optional upgrade. Favorite track: Feast for the Black Earth.

Occult BM in the vein I love best. Comparisons come to mind but who needs them when the stuff's this good?
Btw I listened to this for the first time on a train coming back 200 miles from an Inferno gig. It fitted.

IDE Cold and aggressive occult black metal, with an impression somewhere between Watain and Nightbringer. Very good. ★
